PBC Week 4 : What is the best way to persuade others?


In my opinion, the best way to persuade others is 'trust' because people will feel comfortable and likely to deal business when they have some trust. And people don't like to get hurted their feelings and feel like to get respect.

This week we learned about motivating others to help us in our goals. When persuading others we must work together to solve problems or create new ideas. These are very important because we will always need help in our lives.

PBC Week 6 : Watching Movie "Click"


The Story plot


The architect Michael Newman has a typical middle-class family with his lovely and gorgeous wife Donna and their son Ben and daughter Samantha, and a constant visit of his parents. However, Michael is workaholic and under stress, trying to satisfy his boss with overwork and get a partnership in his company, giving priority to his work and neglecting the family issues. When the tired Michael goes to a department store to buy an universal remote control, he rests on a bed and he meets the weird salesman Morty that offers him a remote control capable of controlling his own universe. Michael uses too much and loses the control of the device, having his own life controlled by the remote control. Then Michael sees the worthwhile parts of his personal life he missed while working, and in the end of his life he lately concludes that the family comes first.


In my opinion, when we living our life we should have concious all time, like we living by brain and heart then we won't regret what we just lost and didn't hurted somebody feeling.

PBC Week 7: Leading Others

In the Leading Others chapter I learned how to build Esprit De Corps, managing others and building alliances. These are all powerful elements for a person who is going to be in management position and going to be a leader. And this chapter can help you to improve your perspective at work.

PBC Week9 Empowering Yourself


I learned about Empowering Yourself, it's about the work culture that feel your opinion matters and let the employees feel confident to apply in many situations. And the five Ins of Empowerment is really interesting for me it's including

-IN form
-IN vestigate
-IN tend
-IN itiate
-IN dependent

And these five things let the employees feel confident with their responsibility.

A fast-lane investment broker, offered the opportunity to see how the other half lives, wakes up to find that his sports car and girlfriend have become a mini-van and wife.


In my opinion, this movie told me that best happiness is not depend on wealthy and living in fabulous lane, it's depend onyou are proud of what you got also what you still got is good, living by optimistic and you will see that your life is beautiful.

PBC Week 12 Accident Insurance case study

Event 2: Accident Insurance Group

1. For informal communication is staff received text message about notifying staff of dismissal, because we don’t know who is sender and don't know it is the truth or not. And formal communication is the Chairman of the company decision to tell workers that he was not sent text message, because we know who is sender and know it is the truth.

2. The sender want to send the message for make staff confuse.

3. In this event have the message that successful and unsuccessful. The message that unsuccessful is someone's message because the staff don't know who is sender, it's truth or not. So, it's just make the stuff confuse, don't make the staff believe. The message that successful is the Chairman’s message because the staff know who is sender, it's the truth and the important is it can make the staff understand.

4. Skills and attitude of the receiver: we can see in this event the receiver(staff) they don't know who is sender, they maybe think it’s not believable, they then don't believe immediately, but when they get the message from the Chairman they think it's believable because they know who is sender. So this skill is very important.

5. We advise this company, they should to tell the staff first that " if we have something to tell you, we will tell by our own so you don't believe from others". I think if the company do like this the staff of them will believe just the thing that they tell don't believe the information from others.
